Buane, I noticed that all the AI teams have put their just recently drafted #1 picks onto their active roster, thereby also putting them onto the 40 man roster (soon to be reduced) before they need to... does this mean in 3 years time they'll all be out of minor league options and could be forces to go on waivers unnecessarily?
If so, maybe you should override that?

Maybe the AI GMs are colluding to keep their payrolls down, thereby increasing the total amount of available cash in the league and thereby causing all free agents to have ridiculously high salary expectations?

2026: re-birth via free agency... Salgado and Salas join Cosme and Sandoval in the bosom of Toronto baseball
2027-29: respectability or just a bunch of boobs? 1st-round playoff fodder twice (but the 2029 draft nets Townsley)
2030: fans pinch themselves as Townsley joins the Juggs rotation full time... team wins the championship while everyone else is.. uh.. distracted
2031: hopes for a repeat sag with early injuries to Townsley & Salgado... over-spending brings off-season consequences
