1B Javier Garcia (CHI): 162 G, .331/.416/.504, 113 R, 74 RBI, 13/15 SBA
3B Jorge Martinez (SD): 157 G, .289/.390/.544, 106 R, 100 RBI
SS Israel Najera (MIN): 113 G, .351/.432/.598, 89 R, 69 RBI
CF Octavio Zarate (SEA): 158 G, .359/.434/.544, 98 R, 110 RBI
That's nice of you to not include Terraboa since he'd split the vote with Martinez, thus guaranteeing a Zarate win.
EDIT: In all seriousness, how are Terraboa and Summers not included in this poll?

RSL - Montreal Royals - 2031 Champions
LA FORCE IRRESISTIBLE DU NORD
2012 - 2018: GM Toronto Juggernauts. Ikeda, Nitta, Mawson, Grays, Heart and Soul, Sexy Texy time, 3 playoff appearances, "The Drop", no titles.
2019 - 2022: Bankrupt the Juggers and quit. No time for baseball. Too busy trying to get the lotion in the basket.
2023 - 2025: Back with a new team for Montreal. JP Berube, the Smoked Meat Mafia, Le Bubba, Abdul the Terrorist, 3 playoff appearances, 1 division title.
2026 - 2028: REBOOT! Everyone - yes, everyone - traded or released. Old Man Vera plus a bunch o' crap, busted prospects, no wins, no fans.
2029 - 2032: The Chocolate LeClair era in Montreal. Double aces. Shawn Worden: Prima Donna? The ballad of Roy Jr. Ouch, my park factor!
Voting for the guy worth over 7 WAR in just 113 games. Hell of a season by Najera.
A CF who should be a LF, a LF who should be a 1B, and a SS who uses Matt Goff's trainer. Na... Najera?

As per the norm, this thread/poll is a joke.
[20:36:32] <Jontler> at one point in time, i owned every single backstreet boys, n'sync, and 98 degrees album
''It seems like they can't do anything wrong here,'' Buehrle said of the Twins, after admitting that the Sox do flinch a bit coming to the dome. ''[Manager Ozzie Guillen] calls them 'piranhas,' but I call them 's---heads.' I would tell you what I really call them, but I know you couldn't print it. They get on base, bunt, steal, bloop singles -- it's [bleep]ing annoying.''
I don't even care about Terror, but anyone that votes for a player that literally.. LITERALLY missed over 30% of the season is wrong. I don't care how good he was when he was healthy.

Summers played more than half his season in the East or are people forgetting that?
Also, Najera missed almost one third of the season. I don't care how high your OOTP WAR is, I'm not voting for you when your peers played that much more than you did.
I was secretly hoping that Summers would win MVP in the WC and LeClair would win MVP in the EC, then I could bask in all my second-hand accolades.

Yes, I'm actually saying I think that 2/3 of a season from Najera was worth more than all of what Zarate played. Especially considering Zarate was in center field for 129 games. And I do care about these awards. I was mostly kidding about WAR, since we all know it's broken, but it's not crazy to think that Najera could have had the best year of his career in the final season of his "peak" years. Even if I thought another 40 games would pull Najera down around Zarate's OPS, I'd give the tie-breaker to Najera for his defense. Najera would also have probably easily hit as many or more home runs than Zarate and Najera's road split was phenomenal, so when I start splitting hairs, I still tilt for Najera.
I can't believe everybody's against me in the one time I'm totally down for Najera.
