One of these days, you should look the Mariners history just for fun. Playoff appearance after playoff appearance and nothing to show for it.

But I haven't given up hope, and neither should you!

Also, holy crapple, is that Los Angeles victory the biggest upset of all time in the league? I think it may be. Still shocked.

Good series, Mak. It's nice to see Alex Meyer out there earning that paycheck again.

The Chicago Cubs choked in the playoffs and you're shocked? Remind me to bet against you more often.

Off to cut ourselves and cry until next Spring...

Jokes aside...I think this was my best club....so, this loss is troublesome.

2 out, bases empty walk-off home runs are the most painful thing in the world. You're better than that, Tim.

Offense is sputtering, hopefully we can get to Stevenson.

I'm surprised too. I was fully expecting to finish 4th or 5th in the west this year and take in a high draft pick. And we did suck, but then the opportunity to add Scooter Gennett and Cory Adamson came up, and I tweaked our park factors - good things started happening. We were also missing Jeff Locke, our top starter, for the second half and now he's back. I think we're a better team than our record because we're a substantially different team than the one that was sputtering for much of the first half.

And I somehow recall reaching the 2016 NLCS with an even worse team, so I'll still think of that as the top upset.

Well, yeah. Exactly. That's why it's so "IN YER FACE" when he drains it from downtown. You're left in the lane like..."WHATT!!??@!"

Mike seems more like a point guard to me, distributing the ball so the people around him can finish strong.

I got home and opened the game, only to find out that the series were still tied 0-0. I don't know what happened that the file didn't completely save this morning, but I am really, really sorry.
