    1880 Draft: Completed

We can now begin the draft. Considering the heavy majority vote, I have changed the historical rookies to draftees. You will now find them in the draft pool. Go to TCBA->Draft Pool to view all of the available players.

    sigh....

is there a precedent for a time limit, with this draft? If the historical amateurs are going to be in it, then I'd like to make it through at least two rounds.

Sorry, guys - Albany has a new owner so he's getting up to speed. I pinged (pung?) him about the draft.

Sorry, guys. Totally my fault. I thought we were doing this with in-game draft lists. In any case, I'll take Buck Ewing.

Hey, your call man. I'm 95% sure Tim Keefe would still have been on the board at 7 though.

We'll move to a 4-hour time limit per pick starting at 8am Pacific on Monday. If your pick is approaching, please PM me a list to keep things moving.

I will have computer access through the holiday so I'll keep letting people know when they're coming up.

As mentioned in the trade thread, Boston now controls the 12th overall pick with Ogden procuring the 16th and 56th overall picks.

Re: 1880 Draft: Chicago is up

Chicago's pick is due at 8am PT tomorrow. Considering how little progress we've made, I'm going to speed up the time limits to 3 hours instead of 4. The clock will start after each pick, Twin Cities will be due at 11am, but if they pick before then, the next one will be due 3 hours after the pick is made. Things will move a lot faster if people PM me lists in advance of their pick.
