    Trade Block

The Lords are looking to trade John Goodman.

He's a very good pitcher that could start on most teams. We're simply trying to move him to make room for a younger guy. Since he's 37 we won't ask for much in return. A low level project prospect would do.

    Re: 1876 Trade Block

Pittsburgh is looking to bulk up the farm system with prospects and picks. So if you're interested in anyone on the major league team that isn't 25 or younger (i.e. John Colliflower isn't going anywhere), send me a PM or message on AIM (kingx492) and we can try to work something out. I'm always fairly regularly on our IRC server (irc.simcentral.net; #bbsc), so if you're into that you can find me there

EDIT: Marcy, Orsulak and Serafini are gone, but that doesn't mean we're completely out of talent (yet). George Ruybal is still very much available, as is Bill Kern and anyone else on my roster not under 25. Basically, if you like anyone on my team, contact me. I'm fairly sure we can work something out

EDIT2: And Ruybal is gone, as is most of the talent I had on the major league roster. I still have some talent left on the roster if you're interested in pillaging, and it likely won't cost as much as the big guys that are now gone. Let me know if there's anyone you like

    Re: 1876 Trade Block

Trade deadline is coming up and we still aren't done selling. Ready to make a push for the playoffs? Trade those prospects to me for some major league help.

Some of the highlights of my roster:
    LHP Nat Delatte - 27 years old, 2.09 ERA, 1.03 WHIP, 3.63 K/BB, 0.1 HR/9
    RHP Dave Beggs - 23 years old, 2.00 ERA, 0.83 WHIP, 3.21 K/BB, 0.0 HR/9
    RHP Ed Hunnefield - 27 years old, 1.53 ERA, 0.91 WHIP, 7.0 K/BB, 0.0 HR/9
CF Steve Vosberg - 25 years old, .660 OPS, 7.5 VORP, plus defense in CF
    3B Bill Chidester - 25 years old, .631 OPS, 2.0 VORP

Not interested in these guys? I have plenty of other roster fillers in the majors that could be pieces to a team looking to make a run. Everyone and anyone on my major league team could be had in the right deal.

I'm only looking for prospects and draft picks, so if you're looking to improve without denting your major league team, send me a message and we'll work something out.

Be forewarned, if you trade with Felix, at least one of the players you get will get injured within a month.

The A's are ready to sell. Pretty much anyone on our active roster but Charlie Rivenbark. I could use hitting prospects anywhere.

Pittsburgh is looking to move our young starting pitching in the majors. This means John Colliflower (25), Nat Delatte (27) and Bill Kern (28) are all available. I also have a variety of other pieces in the majors that could be your backups!

I'm just looking to restock my minors with talent, so I'm looking to move these guys for prospects or picks (assuming we can trade them). If you're interested, find me through PM or AIM (kingx492).

    Still very true!

We're also willing to add salary if you're looking to dump it, so long as its made worth my while. We have a lot of budget room to work with, so if you're looking to get rid of someone, just package him with a decent prospect and send him my way.

Similarly, if there's anyone on my major league team that interests you (such as Steve Vosberg, Bill Chidester, John Colliflower or Nat Delatte), send a message my way and we'll work something out. I'm not going to be looking for that much in return for most of these guys, I'm just trying to restock my minor league system with talent.

If anybody who wants to squeeze the last bit of life out of Dave Aubuchon's bat, he's free if you don't mind paying half the $1400 he's still owed. Steve Hunnicutt and Pete Kokos are also available, though I'd have to get something back for one of them.

hahaha. $12K for Marcy over the next 4 and Broadhead heading for arbitration this offseason kind of make them undesireable don't you think?

Not really, based on FA last year, a 3B with Marcy's ratings would get a lot more than $3K per season, while Broadhead was arbitration eligible last year with better stats and still only makes $550.

It's their performances in Washington that make them undesirable to me.

Ha, you have to love that Pittsburgh put him in center for one game years ago. He had seven total chances and made seven errors.

    Yeah, he's a terrible fielder.

It's amazing if you consider how this year was by far Marcy's best year defensively and he still led the league in errors amonst all 3B. $3,000 a year for that and you'd be lucky if his offensive productions even offset his defensive shortcomings.

Check out this guy. He could still hit when I let him go (probably still can) but his defense is just crazy. He signed on with one of the indy league teams after his release and made 6 errors in 11 chances after making 10 in 41 in the majors.

    Re: Trade Block

The Brownstockings have some extra pitching we're looking to move for hitting this offseason, including:

    SP Dave Beggs - 436.1 IP, 1.75 ERA, 1.26 BB/9, 2.79 K/BB
    SP Davy Gerth- 320 IP, 1.91 ERA, 0.93 BB/9, 4.12 K/BB
    SP Nat Delatte - 452.2 IP, 1.61 ERA, 0.93 BB/9, 2.74 K/BB
    SP John Colliflower - 106 IP, 2.04 ERA, 1.27 BB/9, 2.20 K/BB

Some are going to be more expensive than others, but I'm open to moving at least one of them if it means getting some offensive talent back. I'm not looking for any position in particular, so long as they can field it capably. Money is no concern, but John Marcy need not apply

Any prospect not named Erickson or Bently in my system is available for some immediate offensive help. Preferably young and with defense, especially if it involves some of my better prospects. We've got plenty of young guys in the system though, so if you're looking to rebuild, send me a message and we can work something out.

1B William Shen is available to a good or at least fairly decent home. Shen is wickedly dependable, has won four defenseman of the year honors (despite his mediocre ratings he's always performed super well defensively), and has one of the sweetest 'staches in the TCBA. But I just signed John Maskell, so he is expendable.

I'm looking for... better players? Especially at 2B, 3B, and CF, but if you have a good prospect who's blocked by an Associationer, I'd be willing to take a look.

    Re: Trade Block

The Brown Stockings are _very_ interested in trading for a corner outfielder that actually know how to play offense. We've got a whole mess of outfielders on the team right now, but only a select few can hit and I'm starting to get the feeling that it's holding us back. We could also use some serious help at 3B (or 2B), although I'm slightly more optimistic that Mr. Chidester than I am about my RF situation will turn things around.

Basically, if you looking to restock your system, come talk to me. I'm more than happy to overpay out my nose if the player I'm getting is worth it. And seriously, someone needs to stop Baltimore.

Philadelphia is taking offers on the following players:

    C Ed Frizzell
    3B Steve Pinkey
    SP Dave Baskin --- TRADED
    SP Pat Hall --- TRADED
    SP Irish Mickle
    SP Harry Erskine
    SS Pete Kokos
    LF Steve Neuer
    RF Paul Hines
    CF Bill Christie
    RF George Gammon
    CF Bill Speiers

In terms of major-league talent we're really only looking for a center fielder so I'm definitely willing to talk prospects of all levels for these guys. I'm especially interested in first or second base prospects and willing to send back prospects at other positions if necessary to get a deal to match up in that situation.

    Re: Trade Block

There's been interest shown in Cap Anson...let me know if you also have interest. He may be traded before too long...
