    Re: 2049 Trade Block

Well, this is a good place for me to start off. I am the new GM of the Boston Red Sox.

I am currently looking to add a 2b and a 1b. The 2b is of much more priority than the 1b, but if you have spares at either, I'm interested. I could also use some MR help and pending Zavala's decision with retirement, I may need a SP.

As for who I would like to give up, I think the better answer is who I don't want to give up and that is Martinez/Bonner/Puckett/Gagne. Outside of those guys, I am not particularly attached to anyone. Also of note is that I am probably not going to make a blockbuster deal right out of the gate as I am still learning this league, so I may be more apt to make the small deal than to break the presses.

The Phillies are in need of a catcher now that Fildstrom has signed with Detroit.

Fellas, I have a draft pick up real soon...I'd like to trade it and possibly more for a real good OFer. Salary dump would be OK for me, but I need the guy to be really good. My outfield sucks!!!

I am in vital need of a SS. Matt Smaltz I fear isnt ready to play. I could offer Josiah Hardy, Starting Pitcher and my 2nd rounder this year for one. I generally like SS with range at or higher than 7 and arms of atleast 6. If you want to dump salary i could take him off your hands.

Padres are looking for an ace to lead their staff or at least a really good reliever. We would like to work out something around catching prospect Frank Fasano, if possible. Salary probably not an issue.
    (Cornier is unavailable though).

I will add SP Peter Austin to my trade block as well. Austin had a bad year last season, but who on my team didn't?

    Re: 2049 Trade Block

Ontario has a glut of pitching, and is willing to trade (in alphabetical order):

    MR Chad Clancy
    SP Rodney Linares
    SP Mauro Maddux
    MR Edduar Ribiero
    SP Morgan Shotter
    SP Jake Tolefree

We want prospects. 1st round picks would be nice. Could use a 2B or 3B that's a world-crusher, and would include prospects at such a position in a deal for one. I will also negotiate for other prospects.

    Re: 2049 Trade Block

SP Peter Austin could be moved for a low 1st round or very high 2nd round pick. He'd be a cheap way to upgrade your rotation for 2049! And of course, Osvaldo Martina is available for the right package. Veteran SP Augustus Bolivar too is on the block and can be moved very cheaply.

We also have 3 high-caliber catchers. One is not up for bid. The other two are. We are willing to trade one of:

    C Jason Amos
    C Dimitri Husby

    Our needs:
1st round picks...the higher the better.
    World-crushing 2B or 3B.
#1 starter. We have plenty of #2s.
Top prospects who aren't quite ready but will rock my face off when they are.

We'll negotiate for other players, and prospects in our system. Just be aware that we're looking to get back to the Series and build the minors at the same time.

San Diego has SP Jeff Klepfel (6/8/9, 30y) available.
He had a good season in 2048 with a 3.64 ERA, but is struggling this year.

He's cheap. Fourth rounder for example.

LF Michael Sage is also available. He's young and has some pop. Some pitching (ML ready or not) would be nice in return.

    Re: 2049 Trade Block

Either Dave Smithson or Curtis Syx are available to fill your RF need. Each are capable starters with contracts way below market value through 2050, and I won't be looking for much in return. All I ask is a fair package comprised of some youth.

I could also be convinced to deal Johnny O'Cuppy, although the price would be higher.
[20:36:32] <Jontler> at one point in time, i owned every single backstreet boys, n'sync, and 98 degrees album

''It seems like they can't do anything wrong here,'' Buehrle said of the Twins, after admitting that the Sox do flinch a bit coming to the dome. ''[Manager Ozzie Guillen] calls them 'piranhas,' but I call them 's---heads.' I would tell you what I really call them, but I know you couldn't print it. They get on base, bunt, steal, bloop singles -- it's [bleep]ing annoying.''

Philadelphia is placing Jose Guttirez on the trading block. He's a good rental player and while he has struggled in Philly this year, he might be that extra boost you are looking for come crunch time.

The Brewers put there Icon Matt "Tree" Timberlake on the Block for a potenial waiver Trade, having him on the team could push you from the Contender to Winner status.

same goes for 3B Darrell Grahe,RF Gerald Allcorn,MR Andrew Sandefur
Life will always throw you curves, just keep fouling them off... the right pitch will come, but when it does, be prepared to run the bases.
