and i'm in the market for a big bat. 3rd baseman or outfield. Either one would do. If you have one and feel like haggling with Trader Joe, drop me a PM.

If you need a left-handed reliever Jeremy Affeldt, Casey DeHart, or possibly even Bud Smith could be made available. I'm looking for a starting pitcher or an upgrade at any position.

    Re: 2010 Trade Block Thread

I have the 19th and 21st overall, and am looking to move up to the top 8. If you have one of those picks and would like to trade down, give me a message.
The working class and the employing class have nothing in common. There can be no peace so long as hunger and want are found among millions of the working people and the few, who make up the employing class, have all the good things of life.

Between these two classes a struggle must go on until the workers of the world organize as a class, take possession of the means of production, abolish the wage system, and live in harmony with the Earth.

It is the historic mission of the working class to do away with capitalism. The army of production must be organized, not only for everyday struggle with capitalists, but also to carry on production when capitalism shall have been overthrown. By organizing industrially we are forming the structure of the new society within the shell of the old.

I wouldn't mind moving Brett Myers. He's been solid for me with whips in the 1.20 range. His ratings are solid as well, and he's only 29.

Juan Cruz (SP) is on the block. Besides that I'm always looking for a higher pick, prospects, a 2B and a CF. The last two really need to be upgrades to what I have right now, preferrably with some power. I don't care so much if they are overpaid. Please drop a pm if you are interested

I would love to acquire another draft pick, hopefully in the first round. Even if I got a first rounder I could definately use something in the second/third as well.

Anaheim has decided that no one on the team is untouchable. We are willing to listen to all offers, although the good players will require a lot.

JD Drew could be moved. Also, if a deal makes sense, i could see myself trading down my first round pick.

    Re: 2010 Trade Block Thread

The following Giants can be had for a price:

Chad Durbin-I'll consider moving him, but the price will be high. He's one of the best pitchers in the league the past 3 seasons and is a bonafide ace. He's not cheaply paid, but then he's a beast. I'd be looking for an overwhelming offer, like eyes blistering out of my skull for him, and if you're in my division/league, expect it to be a touch higher. If you take a Huff or Padilla in the deal, my price will drop a touch.

Chris Cervantes-The Great Enigma is on the market. Super ratings plus no offense equals so-so results, as he proves. But! He's got all the tools and I think if he just got the hell out of Pac Hell, he'd win 20 games a year and send me photos of himself pointing and laughing at me. Looking for 3 high prospects for him.

Carlos Beltran-Carlos has been excellent for my team since I got him in late May, 2009. He's hit extremely well for me, is a table setter kind of guy and a free agent at season's end. If you need a good outfielder with great gap power and good defense, he's your man. 2 Prospects.

Odalis Perez-After giving me 3 seasons of good production from the closer's spot, Odalis hit hard times last year, ending up with an ERA a bit over 5. He's a servicable lefty reliever, makes 2M this year and is a FA afterwards. he could start if need be, but I think he's better in relief. Can be had alone or packaged, not looking for a lot.

Tim Olson-Tim's a good shortstop coming off his weakest season in 3 years. He's steady and has the ability to put up bigger numbers than he did last year, if he ever played in a park more conducive to a righty hitter, he'd be a star. 2-3 prospects would do it.

Brandon Phillips-Brandon came over from Oakland and had his typical season for me, hitting 36 homers and driving in 90+, though it was really 40/100 thanks to that week where we lost some stats for last year He's got a ton of power, great speed and is sure handed in the field. Plus, he makes just under 5m a year, is reaching his prime and plays a premium position. 3 prospects.

Kurt Suzuki-Kurt is an odd case, has decent ratings, looked like he was coming along, then collapsed last year. He's got great defensive skills and should be able to hold up his end at the plate, but I have a feeling he's another victim of Pac Hell's offense sucking disease.

Ray Aguilar-another enigma, Ray's got good ratings, but he can't seem to put it all together. He's a 4 star reliever and will probably come around once he's free of the Tsocanos curse, like everyone else.

Marcus Giles-handy middle infielder, has some power, plays 2 positions, should be a decent starter, hasn't had much of a chance with me over the last 2 seasons.

Anthony Ferrari, John Ford-Griffen and several AAA players can also be added to any deal. If you're interested, PM me, or if I'm ever on AIM, hit me up.
A year too long, a league too many...

    PIITB, Ya'll

    Tampa Bay trade block:

SS Cristian Guzman: A very toolsy SS, good bet to hit .300 with 10 hr and 50 sb. Start for most teams, but we like Bobby Crosby better.

DH Jeff Liefer: Big hitter, but pretty inconsistent from year to year

Excess OF's: Irwin Centeno, Nathan Haynes, Tyrell Godwin, BJ Szymanski, Vito Chiarovolloti, JC Holt

    Toronto Blue Jays Trade Block:
Jose Aldea - 3.5 star prospect, ML ready
Vlad Guerrero - Still has decent ratings and can be had for free! Not a huge contract
Adam Bonner - Young Outfielder with a cheap contract. Plays great vs. righties
Aaron Harang - Has great ratings. Has good endurance and can start or relieve
As well as any Minor Leaguers on my team besides McCormick, Hernandez, and Giarratano

If a team with a lot of money would be willing to take on JD Drew's contract for two years, I would be willing to compensate them accordingly... even more so if I could actually get something back in the deal.

    Houston Astros Trade Block:
MR Travis Phelps - Solid veteran reliever. Popular 4* guy with only one season with an ERA over 3.20 in the last 4 years.

LF Aaron Rowand - Another veteran who can probably give a team 15 homers and 50 SB's if given a starting job. Has stolen 59 bases in the last 2 seasons with only 250 games played and 496 AB's.

LF Jamar Hill - Potential superstar. Great player for a young team to throw out there and let develop with ML playing time.

    Re: 2010 Trade Block Thread

Any of the Dodgers' outfielders could be had. Michael Taylor's the most expensive.

All of them are geniuses with the glove, and they all can hit for high averages and have decent speed or excel at it.

I'm in the market for a power hitting bat. If he can play 1B, 3B, LF, or RF he'd fit in perfectly. In any deal, if you get creative enough I'm willing to part with Claudio Vargas. Yes, the Claudio Vargas with the 94 mph fastball and the 10 rating in stuff. The one who had a 1.2 whip last year and who is only making 3 million this year. Of all my starters, he's the one the least hard to pry from me. I currently have more than my share of starters so I could move one in order to upgrade elsewhere.

    Re: 2010 Trade Block Thread

Florida is shopping around SP Zach Day again now that Blaine Boyer has gotten a 4 endurance again and is ready to start. Day is rated a 7/9/7 and has been one of the most consistent, durable, and solid starters in the CL for a while now.
He would be a number 1 or 2 starter on most teams and so I am looking for big time prospect(s). I also need an above average 2b and probably a reliever, so if you can fill those needs, I'm sure we can work something out. Contact me if interested.
