    League Name

I want to remove this from the other thread so we don't clutter it up.

These are the suggestions that were in the other thread:
    Federal Baseball League
Eastern League (even though the Willamette is on the west coast )
    ...we'll skip emath's suggestions
    The League of Gentlemen
    The Owners Club

If you like any of those or have any other suggestions make them here. Or if you like NCL, you can suggest that as well.

If one suggestion seems to be reasonably popular we'll go with that. It's 1904, every Major Leaguer has come to this league but all the youngsters are amateurs (fictional players). That might help you in coming up with a name. This sort of thing happened back then, when a new league would start up and offer players more money to play for them. We might want to spin the league that way. Maybe that will help in coming up with a name.

The league of Gentlemen, New Concept League, and Federal Baseball league would be my top 3 choices.

    Mak is right.
The working class and the employing class have nothing in common. There can be no peace so long as hunger and want are found among millions of the working people and the few, who make up the employing class, have all the good things of life.

Between these two classes a struggle must go on until the workers of the world organize as a class, take possession of the means of production, abolish the wage system, and live in harmony with the Earth.

It is the historic mission of the working class to do away with capitalism. The army of production must be organized, not only for everyday struggle with capitalists, but also to carry on production when capitalism shall have been overthrown. By organizing industrially we are forming the structure of the new society within the shell of the old.

You know, while the movie wasnt all that great, it would be a fun name for our league, as we all are both "extraordinary" and "gentlemen" (thought not necessarily "extraordinary gentlemen").

I don't really want to be reminded of that movie, though. It was awful.
