Victory League 2007 Amateur Draft Lottery

The lottery system, approved by league ownership this season, will take effect for the upcoming amateur draft.

The teams with the four worst records will be entered into the lottery. Each team will receive the same number of chances as their losses from the previous season.

The inaugural Victory League Lottery will contain the Anaheim Power (45-117), Port Royal Grizzlies (48-114), the Oslo Blue Fog and the Honolulu Sharks (both 69-93).

Drafting order will be selected by a random number generator. Anaheim will receive numbers 1 through 117, Port Royal will be 118-231, Oslo will get 232-324 and Honolulu will take 325-417. The first number drawn will determine the first pick and so on.

The Lottery will be held on Saturday. Good luck to all four teams!

So, thats what I get for being So-So........ not good enough to make the playoffs .... and not bad enough to make this draft lottery. The average guy/team just can't get ahead anymore.

The Victory League Lottery is now underway.

I am using the random number generator at random.org.

The first number drawn is 104.
The second is 305.
And the third is 150.

This means the top pick in the 2007 Victory League Draft goes to the Anaheim Power.

The second pick goes to the Oslo Blue Fog.

The third pick goes to the Port Royal Grizzlies.

And the fourth pick belongs to the Honolulu Sharks.

just give me the best pitching prospect left after pick 1. If there are none worthy of the no.2 spot, just pick the best prospect overall.
