    What's up with the CPU?

    Why does the CPU draft 19 year old rookies and place them directly in AAA (or the Majors for that matter). They usually get their butt handed to them and the CPU promotes them to the Majors after 2 or 3 seasons. Shouldn't they at least, play in A or AA for a season or so. Is this a bug? Thanks.

    Probably the same reason it cut Cal Ripken Jr. and Tony Gwynn from their respective rosters. Tony maybe but in RL there is no way in hell Ripken would ever be cut by the O's.

    Heh... the padres in my league actually TRADED Gwynn instead of cutting him outright. The Orioles gave Rippie the axe in mid-June.
