Pitch Count Slider

Where should the pitch count slider be set for the most realism to actual MLB stats ??? I have Barry Zito on my team and he can't throw a strike 40% of the time... I figure the pitch count slider has something to do with it... Have pretty much tuned the game the way I feel it should be except for that... Anyone know ???

have heard from other to try getting more strikeouts is to set the pitch control slider down one notch from default. Keirik suggested it and some others have as well. Give it a whirl.

I am discovering I don't need to use the ball button. I just use the strike button because not every pitch I throw is a strike.

I thought that too, about not throwing or using the ball button, but as soon as I did (actually throwing balls on purpose) I started to get more k's. This is with a somewhat mediocre pitching staff of Cleveland. Ive even gotten them to swing quite a few times on purposely throw balls for strikeouts. Feels good to work the count then sit em' down looking at called strike three.

I just got the game today, and yeah, i mix my strikes and balls, normally i'll just throw strikes..i got quite some amount of strike outs, especially from Politte in 1 1/3 of work, 3 strike out, he's awesome! Anyways, i've even had a 3-2 count which ended up striking the player out, that's not normal! I'd have hard time with that last year's verison! i usually use the ball button especially on a 0-2 count.
