I had a .167 wining pct the worst in MLB. I had Millwood El Duke and Lima but they were all having bad years. I seen a rookie last year who was 17-2 and had a 1.63 ERA so I checked and he was on pace to do even better so I traded him for Lima and A relief pitcher and a AAA 1B I also traded and got a great CF prospect pomoted him and put him in leadoff and he had a 30-30 1/2 season!! Anyway the pitcher went 23-4 witha 1.53 Cy young MVP season the other guy batted .355!! So from .167 to .688 to a wild card birth and a eventual World Series. When I got those players all my other ones played like All-Stars from that point on. I don't know why but my batting Avg. went from league low .245 to .327 and ERA from 7.03 to a 3.18!! Was it the players are was I due for a 18 game winning streak and a World Series Ring?

Good stuff, bosshogg! .167!!!??? That's a 27-135 record! Good to know that Cinderella stories can happen in HH2K1. Were you purely simming or did you play some of the games?

Simming!! That's the amazing thing. It is not like I started playing the game and it took me a 1/2 a season to get the hang of it and get good playing.

My team started to win after I decided to move the lead off hitter. I was the Mariners and decided that Cameron just really cant do it. I made one transaction before the change (trade for belle) and one after (trade for Milton) I put McLemoore at lead off and hes pulling a .300 average thats low. He hit an inside the park HR the first game their. and wow.. Playoff hopes!
