High Heat 2000 and Windows XP

Hi there sports fans I just recently ported to a new computer with Windows XP OS, 2. GhZ CPU and an ATI Raedon 7000 series Video Card.

My problem I beleive is that High Heat will not start up in Win XP because it requires small screen fonts and cannot use large or custom screen fonts. Windows XP currently offers only large and "normal".

Has anyone successfully got HH2K to run in a Windows XP enviroment I have every game from the HH series, 2004-1999 and they all run fine in XP, even HH 1999, but H2K seems to not want to and that is the only reason I can find is the font problem ( Iused to run it on Win 98) but I have a new system now.

    Any help I'd appreciate.

Well I can't say that it's a guaranteed fix, but try playing it in Windows 98/Me compatability mode. Just right click on the icon, go to properties, and there's a compatability tab where you can put it in the older mode. Hope this helps.
I like baseball, it's no longer the center of my universe, but I still like it.

    Tried it .. didn't work

    Hey thanks for replying.

I did try that but it didn't seem to work at all. Screen goes black and the program jsut does not want to start the only thing I can really think of are those darn font sizes.

Thanks for the suggestion though I do appreciate it.
