Mods that work for both HH2K2 and HH2K3

    Hi...

I posted this on the HH2K2 board but no one visits it anymore. I personally don't have the energy to upgrade all my stadiums, uniforms, rosters, etc. to HH2K3. I don't see much improvement over HH2K2, so I'm sticking with that. On to my question...

I noticed a lot of new facepacks available for HH2K3. I assume this hasn't changed between HH2K2 - so I can download HH2K3 facepacks and use them with HH2K2... right?

If so, I was wondering if it might make sense to have a "High Heat Common" download section for things (uniforms, stadiums, faces, photos) that would work for both versions.

I guess users could just check both download areas, but if there was some quick and easy way to have a merge of those mods which work for both, I think it would be cool. I know many people (including myself) are sticking with HH2K2 this year.

Anyway - the main question was if the facepacks should work between versions. Anyone tried it yet?

    THANKS!!!

That is a great suggestion, hefalumps. Perhaps a little notice on the detail download page. Something like "HH2K3/HH2K2 Compatiable" might work.

    Thanks for the advice.

As for your question, I am not sure if they work both ways. I am assuming that some new numbers have been put in for new player faces in 2K3. I know there have been threads on this before, I just cant find one now.

I have Hefalumps, and yes it works. Just be weary of some of the assigned numbers because they don't always matchup to the same numbers from 2k2. You might end up overwriting a different player's existing photo. What I did was manually entered in new unique face numbers and manually renamed the .tga's to correspond with them.
