Well folks it was fun while it lasted...

..I am going out now to return HH. I am very disappointed with the issues right out of the box (messed up gamepad issues, sound etc). It looks like I will not be getting my baseball fix this year unless I buy a console..and even then it doesn't look so good. Here's hoping Jedi Knight will make me feel better.

Sorry to hear that it didn't work out for you Jangofett.

If you don't mind me asking, what are your computer specs? You probably posted that information elsewhere, but I think it's scattered all over the place (part of why we ask people keep all their issues in one thread... ).

I gotta be honest, I am keeping the game, but I am a little disappointed also. There just isnt much of anything new and some of the same little quirky bugs are still present. I am afraid that 3DO might be resting on their laurels a little bit and that the game quality might be dropping some. Im not flaming or anything, and I am keeping the game, its just the same game as 2k2 with a roster patch.

i think the game is great.i had no trouble loading no serious bugs stand out to make the game awful.i actually feel like i can hit the ball with "authority". i had J D DRew rob corey patterson of a homerun that was the first time i seen that in the hh series.and i had all of them.the animation is fluid.and i like the lil animations after the plays.the graghics i think is better looking than the ps2.

so if i had to grade this from 1 to 10 ,i would give it a 9+

anyway im having fun and thats all that matters

I too robbed someone of a homerun. Garciaparra was on third, and I caught the ball over the wall and threw it home. Garciaparra had tagged but, I got the throw in soon enough to get the double play...

I'm sorry to hear you are returning the game. I have been looking forward to HH2003 for awhile, and since it's my first baseball game for PC, I am really impressed.

My gamepad had some issues when I started, but I just had to learn what the various buttons did... The hardest for me was advancing and returning runners, but I am starting to see how that works... I still can't steal yet tho, as I haven't fully figured out how baserunning works.. It seems that as soon as the catcher throws to second my runner that is stealing returns towards first... I think I am either hitting the button too much, or I am not holding it down.. I'll have to experiment and see what it is.

Again, sorry to hear you are returning the game. I guess since I haven't played HH2002 I can't really compare, and therefore don't mind the fact that it is more of a "patch" than a new game...
