i just figured i'd get all Zen philisophosical and stuff about things.....hehe
just try to keep in mind how you feel today about the game because by tomorrow, the next day, or whatever day, we will all have the game. I have no doubts that all of us will have our gripes, complaints, problems, annoyances about the game. Some of us will probably scream "damn, it's only a patch of last ...blah blah"......some of us might scream "has anyone got this terrible bug...etc etc..." or whatever, but try to remember how much you were excited to get the game in the first place. Expectations sometimes are incredibly high for this game. Why? Because it's the best representitive of baseball in a video game that we have ever owned and the hardest position to keep standing on is the one at the top of a mountain.
I know this game isn't going to be perfect. I guess probably some of the best features of the game are the same ones that have been in the game for the past 2-3 seasons. So what though? Let's just be glad hey dont' screw around with what works. Hopefully there will be enough fine tuning of the game to make everyone happy, but I'll just be happy enough to have my hands on it and get to play this year's version.
Anyway, the point is, everyone try to remember that you are excited about the game. We all might be a bit harsh on 3DO at times becaue of our high hopes and expectations. They don't have the resources of some of the mega companies, yet they still put out a damn fine product. When you realize that, imagine what they could do if they were given EA sports budget? It's still mind boggling how a company like EA can still put out some of the crap they do. Let's just be grateful the High Heat series exists. I remember a time when the series might go belly up from financial instability. Just remember, it is the best video baseball game on the market and that is exactly why we are so excited about the game!
I can't wait to get the game now!
ps: yes i know i spelled philosophical wrong
