2002 is harder to hit

I have played 2 games and over 150 cuts in batting pratice mode and have only gotten about 15 actual hits. That is to include the games. I think that 2002 is going to harder to get hits......which makes me happy. I would have to worry about 7 .400 hitters at the end of a season. At least not yet until I get used to the new hitting style of 2002.
Question?? I know this is early but anyone know of a time frame where the updated rosters will caome out on a patch......or a patch to fix the Wrigley bug? Thanks for any Info....Go Cards!!!
