The game features lively crowd logic featuring the Interactive Crowd Excitement System. This creates a more realistic crowd than previously seen in a PS2 baseball game! The crowd ebbs and flows over the course of a game. For example, in a key situation late in a close game the crowd roars on every pitch, but during a blowout the crowd calms down considerably. This system also takes into effect rivalries, team followings, team placement in the standings, and time in the season. For example, the crowd is totally pumped from the get-go for a playoff game or a Red Sox-Yankees clash, but for a mid-season Expos-Brewers battle-for-the-cellar it sounds as if there are only a few fans in attendance -- just like real life!
Now, assuming there talking about the PC version as well, that sounds awesome. I wonder if it's really going to be as good as it sounds, or if it's just hype.
