Posting bids must be made from team cash-on-hand, and obviously cannot exceed the team's cash-on-hand total. This is a closed bidding, so bids will be submitted to me via Private Message.

The team that submits the highest posting bid will win the rights to Hara. Because this is an NPB posting, the player will receive a two-year contract equal to the total winning posting bid. In other words, if $20 million was the winning bid, $20 million would be deducted from the team's cash-on-hand and transferred to Yomiuri, and the player would then be awarded a two-year contract worth $10 million annually.

As with all international players who sign with RSL teams, the player will begin his season with 0 days of service time and 0 days on the 40-man roster. This means at the end of the player's 2-year deal, he will be arbitration-eligible. However, as the player will be an international signee, he will NOT have any minor league option years available.

Welcome to the 2028 Amateur Draft! The current file has the finalized draft class. Please look it over. If you own OOTP11, I recommend taking a look at the draft class in-game, since it allows you to see a couple little things the reports do not. Utilize the in-game class for best drafting results!

We'll be drafting via statslab as usual. The big link at the top of this thread will take you there. Your password, if you have never logged in, will be "baseball" - I suggest you change it after logging in.

Sometimes the utility doesn't like certain browsers. If I recall, Chrome is one of the browsers it does not like. If the draft utility is being weird for you, just try a different browser.

As for the draft...you all know what to do.

But seriously, you guys have grown awesome at drafting lately. Everyone leaves lists, everyone is happy. This year, we've chopped off three rounds from our draft. So I don't think we'll have any problem with the draft. Of course, we've added a number of newer players! So, new members, lists are great! Even when someone is on the clock for a while because THEY didn't leave a list, that just gives everybody ELSE time to...leave a list. This way, when that slacker picks we get through the next 15 picks too. Everybody wins.

Seriously, if you ever think to yourself, "gee I wonder if I should leave a list" the answer is YES. Leave lists. Don't be that guy who says "oh I don't need to leave a list, I'm always around." Don't even be that guy who says that ironically in IRC because they think that joke has never been made. Leave a list.

And when you leave a list, please check off that box that says auto-draft by list. Ok?


The timer for picks in the first round is 24 hours. The second round is 12 hours. The third round and beyond are 6 hours or something like that. If you force me to auto-pick for you, you'll be put on auto-draft for the remainder of the draft or until you log in and reset the setting yourself.

I can see who has logged into the utility and I can see when you were last there. If it's your pick and you haven't left and list nor logged in to the utility recently, I reserve the right to auto-pick for you without waiting, and you'll be put on auto-draft for the remainder of the draft or until you log in and reset the setting yourself.


If you leave lists, all this unpleasantness can be avoided. :)
