Taking photos at Tokyo Dome really sucks, big time. Especially if you don't have a tripod/monopod or a fast lens. I have neither.
Also, I think I had much easier time taking photos of the action from the seats in the upper deck than from the seats closer to the field. Go figure.
In any case, I took about 270 or so images and I was only really satisfied with a small fraction of them. I present to you, the best of the crop.
Oh, and if you want to read my thoughts on the game, I included a few notes in my other post.
Panoramic view of the Tokyo Dome field.
A Futagami sighting prior to the start of the game.
Player intros at the start of the game.
Conference on the mound with Yuki Saito.
Look out, broken bat! I think the bat head actually went over the fence
that runs around the field and into the stands behind the first base dugout.
Gone fishing... And no luck. What were you thinking?
Throw to first... Not in time!
Something about this shot that I like. Maybe it's the contrast in the
three uniforms: Japan grey, USA white, and Umpire orange.
Final score: Japan 7 - USA 5
