Honestly, there's nothing better in baseball than seeing your team's best pitcher out on the mound and dominate their chief rival in a must win game. This past week, I had the pleasure of seeing the movie Fanboys, which was made a few years ago but had been in post-production hell since then due to a few snags, which apparently included extra funding for more footage to be shot, a change in directors and a change in storyline, all of which pushed this film from mere comedy film to almost cult status before it was ever even seen on screen. Pitchers and catchers started arriving in Port St. Lucie this past week, calling a start to the soon to be 2009 baseball season. After two straight years of depressing results, the Mets rearmed the bullpen and are looking to get back out on the field in yet another attempt at keeping ahead of the Phillies and the NL East.

As one of their minion, I look forward to a fresh start for the team, which has ripped out my heart in each of the last two years, ...
