The Nationals' pitchers and catchers reported this morning. A quick check of the weather shows that it's 82 degrees and sunny in Viera, compared to 46 degrees and overcast here in Washington. The position players are due in camp by the 17th with the first full squad workout set to take place on the 19th.
Spring Training Roster
We had a bit of a dusting last night so I took my camera out with me this morning on Roxie's walk. Admittedly, the framing on this is not very good.
If anyone is interested in some shots I took around the Lincoln Memorial area on Monday, I posted them in this entry. I'd still welcome any feedback if anyone has any technical or post-production suggestions.
Here are a few more I took this fall. The first three were taken about an hour west of the city.
We were fortunate to experience a warm, spring-like day today here in D.C., so I took advantage of it by walking around the Lincoln Memorial area with my camera. None of the shots I took are particularly artistic or anything that most of you haven't already seen, but I'm still trying to improve on (and better understand) the composition in my pictures. I welcome any suggestions and constructive criticism.

Using the team stats that Gen has posted here, I went back and figured out the Pythagorean records for both NPB leagues for the period of 2005-2007. I used 1.83 as the exponent.
