Customizing Game Music in PureSim 2007

By Bassplayer57

There are ways to do this, too. My version of PS has music from "The Natural" imported as the opening theme. I bought the CD, converted a track to MP3, renamed it, and voila, when I start the game, that's what I hear. Beautiful, and inspiring, to my ears. I have more, but this is just one example.

Go to the PS/Audio folder. Rename PSTakeMeOut1 to something like PSTakeMeOut1 (orig). Insert the new mp3 into this folder, and rename it to PSTakeMeOut1. There you go -- the new music will be played when you open the game. The mp3 replacement file should be no higher than 192kbps.

----------------

There's more. Go inside the html folder and create a new one, called Music. This allows custom music for various nenus. I created one called almanac.mp3. Put an mp 3 of your choice into that folder, and rename it almanac. mp3. So, after an almanac is created, and you click on it, you'll hear music to go along with the displays.

As answered in this thread.
